Goldman Sachs online Coding Test Questions | CoderPad Interview

One of the recruitment firms shortlisted my profile for Goldman Sachs hiring. After that, HR shared the job description and I shared an updated resume over an email.

Before you apply, make sure your resume is well-formatted as per standard IT guidelines, for that use an online standard resume formatting tool. It is the FREE tool to generate your CV.

This recruitment was for experience candidates. There will be an online coding round. If you complete the coding round, they will ask you for technical interviews.

As a process of their hiring, they will send you two programming questions and you have to solve them online.

Goldman Sachs Online Coding Test Questions

Here are the two coding questions asked in the online technical test by Goldman Sachs.

They have hosted their online test on Hackerrank.

You will be having 120 minutes (two hours) to solve these two questions. You cannot pause and restart the test again. So, before starting the coding test, allocate yourself two hours.

There will be around 10 test cases for each question. Try to pass all the test cases to crack this online test.

You can solve this in any programming language you feel comfortable with. I solved both of these questions in Python programming.

Difficulty level: Competitive level for these coding challenges is medium.

If you are good at logic building and have good programming skills, it’s not much difficult to crack this coding test.

After a couple of weeks, I got a call from HR and told me that I have cracked the coding test. After they schedule a technical interview.

Goldman Sachs CoderPad Technical Interview

Once you crack their coding test, you will be having an online interview. Again this is a complete coding round.

They use CoderPad. It is their online tool where they will ask you to write and execute the code. CoderPad shares the screen with the interviewer so they can see your code while you write.

There was only one interviewer. After login into their CoderPad online compiler, they gave me one programming challenge to solve.

They usually ask you for some programming puzzles.

This hiring was for Bangalore, India location.

Note:

You have to wait for a couple of weeks after an online coding test. They have a long hiring process. After the coding interview, there will be 6-7 pure technical interview rounds. This may take around two months to complete all the rounds.
